A Disappointing Chicago Open
Well there just isn’t much to say when it comes to PSP Chicago 2007. We lost. We didn’t only lose the tournament; we lost what we have been building up, what we have been working ever so hard for. There is too much talent in paintball to determine the best team, the true best team reveals itself on the field through heart. Skill level is definitely a huge factor, but a team that can come out on the field and show that they want it more will usually win the game. It seems that we lost the focus, and we lost the heart in Chicago. This year Denver Altitude has come together like never before, and we’ve proven we are the best team in our division. But it takes even a better team to come back from a hard loss. After winning the first 2 events of the season and then placing 13th in Chicago, the team felt we had forgot something, and we did. We forgot why we are here, we forgot why we play this game, and we lost the energy we had in previous events. Now, harder then ever the team is working. We know our faults, we have determined what we did wrong, and we are correcting our mistakes. Harder then ever we are preparing for the next event in Omaha, NE. We know we have to win, we know we have what it takes to win, and we are going to put all of our heart out on the field to prove it. We are excited for the next event and thank all supporting fans and sponsors. See you all in Omaha!
