Denver Altitude Wins PSP Los Angeles Open!

The beginning of the event on Thursday saw us winning both of our prelim games with pretty substantial leads.
Friday we started off with another win with a large lead and then fell back just a bit with a close game (but still a loss) against a team that was also doing really well at this event TX Justice League.

Saturday the team advanced into an "ocho" round in which we again did really well with a huge point spread on and it kicked us into the quarter finals, where obviously we were going to face the top teams in the bracket.

Sunday was a very busy day as the quarters/semi/finals were going down and we planned on being there for the whole run. With two solid wins in the quarter finals, the semi finals put us against the always solid and much talked about Gridlock in which we did in fact beat them but by a very close margin. This meant that we would move onto the finals against the winner of the CDR/Swatpaintball.com game. CDR won against Swat which is what brought them to us in the finals. This was another opportunity for us to run up a big lead with us being up 3-0 and then getting a major penalty in which time CDR was able to put 5 points up in a row against us until our penalty ran out. We were able to tie it up at 4 and then CDR got a major penalty that we were able to capitalize on and put two more points up before the time ran out.

Denver Altitude wins their first major national tournament! Thank you to our newest 2007 sponsor PROTO for all the support this year so far.
